It’s been a week now. I can’t believe it’s been a week already.

Chapter 7: Revenge!
Basil was awoken by a giant wave of icy water that stuck to his fur immediately. He gasped loudly as he felt his entire body freeze -almost all of his clothes had been stripped from him- and a chilling breath escaped him. He tried to wipe the water from his face so that he could be able to see what was going on. Something had gone terribly wrong, that much he knew. However, he found himself unable to reach so far. In fact, moving his hands was impossible. And everything felt rather dizzying. Now and then, the chanting children’s voice would appear to him.

In a hurry, Basil unlocked the door to the loft and ran behind his desk fishing out the case book. Quickly, and pretty sloppily, he began writing down what he had been told by Maren and what he had witnessed through the spyglass. Chapter 5: A monster from the abyss
“Wait!” Basil called out as they came about half the way down Vågen, coming to a stop before suddenly turning around and running back to the docks. “Basil? Basil!” Amalie bellowed out, seeing Basil disappear in the opposite direction. “What are you doing?” “We need a spyglass!” It was shouted from such a distance that Amalie wasn’t quite able to pick it up. She slightly fumed, continuing to run towards Svartediket to meet up with the little girl.
